Monkeys Glow with Jellyfish Genes

They've already made glow in the dark mice.
They use retroviruses to insert the genes.

Obama declares LGBT Pride Month

To me this is almost unbelievable given the forces that have dominated our politics for so long. Wow. I can't help but like him, even though he is facilitating a process of spending our nation into a deep hole. One person can make a big difference, and this man will go down in the history books. But not without being very unpopular with the keepers of the status quo. I like to think that more of us will be in favor of the eradication of prejudice than will be against it. It's about time. NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2009 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to turn back discrimination and prejudice everywhere it exists.
