He has kicked off quite the furor after beating the mainstream Republican in the Kentucky primary. The media is all over him, calling him nuts. The girls at my school were completely positive that he is a Racist. I wonder if they even know why they think he is a racist. The web is calling him racist because he doesn't agree with part of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Well I haven't studied the law, but I am positive that if I did I would find something about it that I don't agree with either. Does that make me a racist? We have a new definition of racist!! Are there not more ways to abolish racism than this one law? Is political correctness always so simple minded? I'd love to see a reasonable intellectual discussion of the issues before the witch hunt begins. His position is incomprehensible from the liberal groupthink mindset, hence he must be insane.

Mercola Explains Himself
Jul. 14th, 2009 10:03 amHere he speaks to the fact that he sells products on his natural medicine website, and explains his motivations. I have followed his email newsletter since 2000. He started it in 1997. I have found that he often breaks news that nobody else will cover. He brings new science to my attention, and elaborates on the possible ramifications of it. He explains the conflicts of interest inherent in our system of corporate medicine. I find that he has no conflict of interest, his mission is clear and he is accomplishing it.

I can't believe that they are making her out to be a madwoman....but then, I can. Oprah's ideas are a threat to the pharmaceuticomedical industry. When you have a new idea, first you are mocked and disparaged. Oprah's out there on the front lines getting mocked and disparaged. We are making progress. Thanks for taking the hit Oprah. We've got your back.
I thought I posted a link to Naomi's article earlier, but couldn't find it, so here it is! This is the same lady from the utube clip (previous to this entry).

Zwickey on Medical Paradigms
Oct. 7th, 2007 09:09 amPart of my method for keeping my boat afloat in this world is keeping a calendar, and I am currently going through September to make sure nothing fell through the cracks. Sometimes, when lacking other paper, I take notes in my calendar. On September 6 I took some notes during Orientation at NCNM on Zwickey's talk. Here's what I thought worth noting.
