Laptop Fritz

Haven't been posting because my laptop isn't letting me. It says it's connected but no websites come up using either firefox or chrome. So I'm in the library right now. Got in a few hours with the lady doc in Sedona today, more tomorrow. Been visiting friends around Flag. For some reason it feels like home. This is a pretty cool town. But I only get 30 minutes free internet at the library so I'm back to email triage. Hope you guys are well.

Is it that they aren't being rendered or that it doesn't download them at all? Does it eventually time out and give an error message? Got any more browsers? If you type ipconfig/all at the command prompt (start run-command cmd) do you get an address other than 169.x.x.x on one of the interfaces? Are you on Windows or Linux? On linux you need to run ifconfig in a shell to get the same info. Maybe someone else has better ideas what might be wrong.

Are you on a Windows machine or a Mac? If Windows, I might be able to help troubleshoot the problem.

Yoga was fun last night and I'm not too terribly sore - in fact, I think it helped my soreness. :-) Thanks for taking me! My calendar is clear for Jazzercise 8:30 Friday morning. Show up 5-10 minutes early; they will ask you to fill out a form before class.

Excellent. My Friday is shaping up great. Jazzercise, then yoga, then a sports massage. I'll be a wet noodle after that.

Got the computer thing figured out last night. This machine has windows XP. I think I'm going to switch back to mac after this, though.

I'm glad you got it figured out. I like Windows 7 pretty well. Never could get into using a Mac. I've had a few at work and always end up handing them over to somebody else and going for Windows. I know people who love their Macs, though!
