Don't Text Me

I was pleased to find that I am not the only one who doesn't want to pay extra for the ability to text, and doesn't appreciate the fact that if someone texts me (regardless of my desires) I get charged for it.

I had the ability to receive texts turned off on my phone. Paul, too.

Hmmm. I probably have the option too....somewhere in the fine print that I have never seen because I'm on someone else's account...

I had to call Verizon to get it done. They have to switch that option off from their end. The lady could hardly believe I wanted to turn OFF the ability to receive texts!

It's nice to not receive spam texts, which was all I'd ever get.

...huh, I don't even have a cellphone, and can't believe the enormous bills people get...I still get mad when spam faxes use my boss's paper! ahahahahha!

once again, I learn something on this blog. I hate text msg. I'll have to go and turn it off soon.

I want to investigate the soy milk issue too. I don't want to drink bovine milk. But then again I don't ingest soy in any large amounts. We'll see.

Thinking about the Rio Grande trip. See what comes up. I'm sure you have some ideas. Might be nice to go on a trip where I don't have to teach anyone a damn thing.

I am so with you! No offense to my friends and relatives, but I don't pay for/have that feature and when they send me texts I tell them gently not to. Some people still send them! :(
