If you know what's good for you, if you know that they're leftists, you won't believe anything they say any time, anywhere, about anything … So we have now the Four Corners of Deceit, and the two universes in which we live. The Universe of Lies, the Universe of Reality, and The Four Corners of Deceit: Government, academia, science, and media. Those institutions are now corrupt and exist by virtue of deceit.

I assume that Limbaugh said this on the radio (media) or in print (also media) or on the internet (also media). Funny that i have arrived at almost the same conclusion about the "right" that he has about the "left." Ah, well, diversity is supposed to be good for us.

the wisdom of no belief

I pulled the quote out of The Week. I think it was on his radio show.

There are good arguments for not believing ANYBODY, including yourself (The Fifth Agreement by Don Miguel Ruiz, or The Wisdom of No Belief by Alan Watts). It is not difficult to believe things that are completely false, or partial falsehoods. We can't possibly know all the variables in the past, present, or future, so wisdom indicates a flexible stance on what IS.

Not believing left or right is a reasonable position. Politically motivated statements are rarely based in humanitarian values, regardless of the source, and cannot be trusted.
