I've noticed for years now that I can't hold my liquor like I usedtacould....and also that hangovers from small amounts last for days. Since my last boyfriend I've consumed very little alcohol, and recently I have decided that the right amount for me personally is none. This is a little sad, because among my very favorite things on this planet are the incredible combinations of wine and cheese, and wine and chocolate. I also utterly adore sake with my sushi. But historically I have always consumed the most alcohol while in the company of men who drink routinely. So I must draw the line: I don't drink. That's it for this lifetime. I have learned the art of appearing to take a swig from a jug, while actually only barely touching my tongue to the contents. Someone just gave me a bottle of tequila, and I'm saving it for my next party, at which time I will get everyone else blasted. Yeah!

Here's Mercola with links on why boozin' hurts women faster. It has to do with us females lacking an enzyme that disarms the toxin.

I will now keep an eye out for wine w/o alcohol. I didn't know there existed such a thing!

I have other health issues that are affecting my choice not to drink, specifically my liver is compromised.....bummer. But I'm doing what I can to protect and re-grow it.

"specifically my liver is compromised.....bummer. But I'm doing what I can to protect and re-grow it."

I experience words as creative so I would upgrade to "restored to full health" or "my liver is healthy" wording that moves forward in now. (try them all on and experience what they feel like to you)

You have the main requirement for accomplishing your goal here-
You believe it is possible.
Also, it sounds/looks like you are willing to take actions to support your choice of abundant health. : )

I have a family member who prefers the medical model...but she is coming around and maybe it will be soon that she starts drinking or taking yellow dock to support her liver health. Ideally she finds herself a dr who has studied both the medical and alternative/nutritional modalities. (my fantasy too-that sort of medical professional.)

You are already well on your path with every "I can" as your mind/belief/emotion are the most powerful tools you have.

Meanwhile, if you are a "yes" I will also place you in my prayers seeing you already healed.

Yay!!!

Thank you for the prayers, and for the note on wording. My healing is more than possible, it is in progress! Did you know that I am embarking upon studies this fall to become a Naturopathic Doctor? My MD girlfriends are a great support network, and they are as interested as I am in what I will be learning...

Great support from MD girlfriends? WOW...maybe we are going to get those MD/ND physicians soon. Yay!

Iridology, Bioptic Holography which is what it upgraded to, BE practioner, Reiki and energy worker, Language of Mastery Instructor, and a few other things, some of which I "just do" intuitively. Oh...and starting Philosopher's Stone work as well. I will share my link with you when I get it set up.

In my opinion, we are all healers on some level. We are all teachers too.
Some of us do it intentionally and others just live it.

Blessings~*

The link "How We Heal" has archives which I recommend. He also has two books-Body Electronics and "How We Heal"

Mastery Systems just put out "Conscious Language" which I am very excited to have. If you were going to pick one book...that would be the one...from these.

All are good.

Maybe I will see you there in June...I dream big....Star

Go to www.masterysystems.com and check the schedule. There are events in Georgia at Bird's Nest Retreat in June. Maybe I will see you there?

OH, I saw that there is a training. Good for you! You will not see me there, though I adore N Georgia and am certainly curious about these teachings. I used to live in South Carolina, just across the river from Clayton, GA.

For this summer I will be working full time and taking no more vacations (after this weekend) until I move in August. Saving up a mini-nestegg for the move.

Chuckles...glad you will be looking for the wine too. My ulterior motive is "The more people know about these wines and ask for them..the more of them there will be and the easier they will be to find. Also, my fantasy is they are served in the fancy restaurants as a regular part of the wine list.

I have asked for them at restaurants even knowing they are not on the wine list because as you said...most folks do not know they exist. So I like to make sure they know they exist. So thank you for reminding me to start doing that again.
