I picked up a statistics book in the library once, in the intro it had some of those BS statistics that sound good until you think about them, trying to justify the existence of statisticians I suppose. One of their bullet points was "statistically the first few seconds of life are the most dangerous". Wow. Penciled in next to it was "the last few aren't too safe either".
