I know several burners or burner-wanna-bees who makes this an annual event. They say it's fun. The only thing that creeps me out is the nudity around children.
Maybe I'm narrow minded in that area. Maybe I'm too old to offer a valid review of an event that others have shared through stories to me.
It is supposed to be the perfect place for an outdoor rave. Tickets typically sell out hours from opening sale (they sell in tiers, the earlier the cheaper. It is really brilliant when you have more people than room).
I'm just not into the tripping in the woods for 3 days of music (I can barely take for the 6 hours at events here) scene.
Thanks for the scoop, you know more about it than I do. I just might be in NC around that time but the description you give doesn't make me wanna figure out when the tickets go on sale. I will have to ask about it from the friend who is going.
