Ron Paul has declined to be the Libertarian Party candidate in the presidential election, and Bob Barr has stepped forward, and will run. The libertarians are quite split about him, and apparently his voting record is spotty. Ron Paul has been speaking favorably about him lately, because he is the only true government shrinking candidate out there. Obama and McCain would both maintain the status quo of insane government expenditures to maintain hegemony abroad and also to continue funding a lot of social programs that aren't working. Here is a tiny bit of Bob Barr, speaking to a conservative audience, about conservatism, and introducing Ron Paul. In case you're at all curious.
