Just finished my first test of the day, palpation. On my patient I located the 7th thoracic vertebra, the manubrium and quadratus lumborum, and did passive flexion motion palpation of the cervical spinous processes. Pie. Easy, that is. The next test is in organ systems, on the four segments that I posted about last night. That one will be harder.

Thanks. Went well enough. Now I'm obsessed with the next test: microbiology. This is completely new material to me and it is 90% memorization. Egad. I'm hitting it every morning and night for at least an hour or two every day for the next 5 days. And anatomy lab exam soon, though I'm grateful that I already know well a lot of the anatomic features that we are expected to name. Those suboccipital muscles are even starting to seem familiar. Anyway. Thanks.

How's the study of Deviance going? =-]

Anatomy is fascinating when you can do it hands-on. I don't know the names of everything in an animal, but I have memorized the way different muscles lay and wrap, and the locations of the organs, etc.

I haven't picked up the deviance book in a couple of weeks. I've been concentrating on the culture class instead. I am about halfway through with the deviance work, though, so am confident I can finish it up before the end of the semester.

Yeah, I know how you've studied anatomy....it is fascinating. Good luck getting the deviance done while the culture class continues.....you bite off a lot, over and over. Get 'em girl!
