Here's more from Naomi Wolf, whose book The End of America just came out, putting her back on "the list" of Shrub regime "bad guys". The most alarming part of this interview is word from Naomi that this "list" (which they use to decide who to hassle at airports) has recently been expanded from 45,000 to 775,000 individuals, and that the management of the "list" will transition from the airlines to federal hands if the legislation is not blocked.

We have work to do. This is happening NOW, this is not something that can wait until it is convenient.

This is amazing in an most awful way. I knew things were bad, but not as bad as she describes. My grandfather was journalist in Nazi Germany murdered by the Nazis after being imprisoned in the mid 1930s. This gave me chills.

I guess I'd better keep my mediation and negotiation skills sharp. I can't think of how else I can be effective. Maybe getting into local government, like you mentioned a year or two ago.

Tis a good question and I'm sure there are as many answers as there are people. I hope that you will get into the project of reclaiming our elections. With free elections we can oust the fascists and reconstruct our democracy. The big machine is supposedly chosen by us.....though in fact it isn't. I am certain that you will play your part in whatever happens. Meanwhile, plant fruit and nut trees.
