Unfortunately, it doesn't taste anywhere near as good as honey. I missed the flavor of honey in my mate tea blends, and started using it again. My tooth pain has subsided after just a week of no sugar and increasing my frequency of using a fluoride mouth rinse.

There is a brand called "Spry" that you can get at places where natural foods are sold. Gum brands vary in the amount of Xylitol that they contain. Spry has a lot.

There are several brands that have Xylitol. Just check the label.

My youngest has been ordered to chew twice a day, because she has some small spots on her teeth. It has been proven to stop tooth decay, but if they make the claim, it would have to be approved as a drug, which is too much of a pain.
