INTERESTING TIMES

I am a renter in a two story, two apartment house in "the hood", that is, the Brooklyn neighborhood in the SE of Portland. I live upstairs with Suzanne, her pug and my cat. The two women downstairs are basically strangers to us. We only know their loud habits, really. The landlord has been in the process of constructing Portland crash pad for himself in the basement, that's why there's a new toilet down there.
