Wearing Makeup

Mercola says that women who wear makeup daily can absorb up to FIVE POUNDS of chemicals per year! Wow. Now I have an even better reason to go natural. If you're going to wear makeup, the ingredients to avoid are:

1. parabens (methyl paraben, ethyl paraben, propyl paraben, butyl paraben, isobutyl paraben or E216)
2. sodium lauryl sulfate
3. fragrances (there's a loophole by which irritating and hormonally active ingredients can sneak in and be called "fragrance", see: http://www.mercola.com/2007/mar/1/one-out-of-five-cosmetics-may-be-contaminated-with-cancer-causing-impurity.htm)
