What the immigrants seem to believe, and what many of the people who rebelled against King George believed, is that if enough people simply refuse to participate in the corrupt system, it will fail and be replaced by something better. I hope that we will be able to bring about change this way instead of having to fight bloody wars. I don't even have a gun. But I have feet to march and a voice to sing songs of peace. Maybe these things will matter. I can only hope.
