Unfortunately my copy is messed up. It's off of the CD "Last of the Independents" by the Pretenders. My CD has a scratch in it and two of the songs are trashed.
I comment sort of tongue-in-cheek. I have personally not found anything yet that I care about so much that I'd lay down my life for it by joining a rebel force.
I think the reason 20 million aren't marching is because most people do not see the problem as you or I do. They are living their lives, raising their children, trying to keep on top of their house payments. The broader problems in the country aren't their concern (as they see it) and they don't have the energy to think about it, nor the desire or know-how to act on it. That's the first group I see. The other group I see are those who think we ARE doing the right thing.
Ah, the follies of democracy. To live in a country where everybody is allowed to have an opinion and allowed to do their own thing. No matter how things are, only some of the people will be pleased. The others will find fault with it.
