I do like wine and cheese and I discovered there existes "de-alcoholized" wines....had alcohol but it has been removed. Ariel is one brand that has de-alcoholized or non-alcoholic wines that are nice. Other brands exist.
Unfortuneately it is a rare bar or restaurant that actually carry these. (usually they only have some form of champagne for special occaisions if they do)
You can find a larger assortment of these wines at wine stores who pride themselves on variety. I recommend you call ahead.
If you find anything that you really like, feel free to share it with me. Even though I have a drink upon occaision now, I still enjoy (and generally prefer) the de-alcoholized versions.
btw...I suspect one can find enzyme supplements to handle the deficit.
