Social and cultural worlds are the structure within which our personal worlds exist.
I don't ask to see inside people's realities, but people unconsciously reveal themselves. It is a curse when I am surrounded by tortured souls, because I can't help but to see how much pain they are in, even when I'd rather not look. It's not because I'm prying, it's simply unavoidable without avoiding the person.
In print, it is far more difficult to see the unconscious part of a person, because the words that are generated in this format are a product of the neocortex. So I would have to "intrude" in order to get clues as to your inner reality, and I have no intention of doing so. Remotely I do not perceive your inner darkness, or your inner light to the same degree as I do in person.
So if you want to keep your distance and secrets, keep it all online. ....... and no matter how much of your thinking we know, we will never know you.
