This seems quite true for me. The more I embrace all of my feelings the more fully alive I feel. The deeper the silence and depth of source connection the more I feel and am able to hold it all.
and I meant to add that the more I feel, the more aware of all my feelings the crazier/more mad I feel. It also seems to be true that the deeper the silence within the more grounded I feel at the same time as I am feeling all the energies of feeling within me. Crazy with feeling and yet deeply anchored. When I start to feel overwhelmed and awash in the craziness I know the anchor is slipping and I am drifting and starting to be battered about. If I am aware of this it's time for silent time alone, meditation, more yoga, breathwork, wilderness... and when I am ready for it connection with loving friends and community.
