Jeanne Robertson on her Grand Canyon Rafting 8-Day



She probably had even less fun than the guides who took her down the Colorado on a motor rig.

=-] I think they were pretty normal. There are lots of people who don't enjoy Grand Canyon in spite of the best efforts of their guides---especially when the river is running mud. The bucket swirling analogy was perfect.

I think the sad part about this is two fold. She is too self absorbed to understand that this is a trip of a life time, and if she is too "sheep-like" that she cannot read and discern marketing materials, then she just needs to purchase the condo next to the Wal-mart and pre-pay for the daily taxi ride.
And, she is possibly not inquisitive enough to ask "why?" the rivers in this part of the country run brown part of the year...which takes us back to point one.
