Reagan and Bush I ran up a huge deficit, with not much to show for it. (I guess winning the cold war counts as something.) It was paid off. I'm not bothered about it at all. I get pretty annoyed at the 'conservative' pundits jumping up and down about the one being run up now. I guess MILITARY spending is ok. (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.) Yeah! Let's just make sure we have a burgeoning underclass that has few employment options. They can all join the Army!
I hope I can travel in 2010. Notice I'm going before 2012! Considering the state of things, I'd rather have some good memories, rather than a slightly better grade of cat food when I'm old.
April 1, my husband's company files for bankruptcy! I am NOT allowed to talk about it or ask about it. He said, "I don't know. Don't ask me again." The stock is trading at between .01 and .03.
