A friend of mine from high school went through conventional medical school right after college. When she got through it all, she decided she didn't want to practice medicine anymore.

She ended up going to Africa and India for a year after she got done with her last year of residency to figure out what she wanted to do with her life and her education. She said that that year helped her decide that she did, in fact, want to practice medicine and she has a pediatric practice in Texas now.

I'm certain she could empathize with this article. I know I can and our school is so much kinder in comparison to most conventional programs.

I am so not surprised at this. I am amazed at the amount of information you post in your journal, and i know that is only a small percentage of what you are actually having to take in.

I'm impressed by you!
