hmm... It's me and Barack Obama all the way according to my answers. Ole' Hillary is right behind. I thought I heard that Gore officially entered the race? Is that not true?

So far all I've heard about Gore is that he has no intention of running. From his own mouth. So I'd be surprised....

You and Barack....yeah.....and do you like him? I mean, besides this test, what do you know of him?

uh, he's black.

Sadly, I know next to nothing about all the candidates. I've had a hard time finding the desire to get into this election for real. Maybe because it seems that the whole shindig has started so early, and has been going on for so long already, I kind of feel like I can wait to investigate candidates until things heat up. It doesn't matter how much I like a person, if they don't make it to the last heat, all the liking in the world won't get them into office.
It's cheesy, and superficial, I know, but I like Gore, (even though I guess he isn't running) because he's serious about the enviroment. I need a guide to the candidates for dummies.

Well please do check out Ron Paul's positions on things! Have you watched any of the Youtube videos of him? I have posted links---they're a few weeks back. And there's the RonPaul08 link on my journal, too, follow that and see what you find out. He and Kucinich are the only candidates who aren't trying to appease either the democrat or republican "bases". And since both dominant parties are totally corrupt, I would like to see some independent, libertarian and green candidates get a coalition going that would elect someone outside the existing party structure. The existing party frameworks are defunct. The conservatives aren't conservative, and the liberals are confused.

I want our government to obey its own laws. And I want our nation to stop going around playing global policeman, and spending our national fortune.

So I'm pretty firmly libertarian these days. I have a certain socialist bent as well---there are some social programs that I think do a lot of good---but for now we need to restrain our spending on wars and our subsidizing of corporations, and Ron Paul would do that. No dickin' around.
