Celtic Buddhism

This sounds like the sort of Buddhism I could espouse. They encourage everyone to develop a daily meditation practice. But overall the religion is so "unstructured" that other Buddhist groups are concerned. And the Celts are known for their paganism.

Traditional Buddhists may complain about unstructured aspects of Celtic Buddhism.

I, too, find that problematic. You can't just do any old damn thing you want and call yourself a "Buddhist." Buddhism doesn't work that way.

Ah, I understand what you are saying because I hear it from all manner of self-proclaimed Buddhists....and yet, freedom of speech! You can call yourself whatever you damn well please! Maybe nobody will believe it, but you sure can do it. Heh. Buddhism has no say in the matter.

Fair enough. I had once described people like this as "Celtic Navajo Samurai Rabbis." It seems appropriate.

Yep. And I'm a bodacious bare breasted boofin' babe. But don't tell anybody.
