Did you read the one little article I linked to? I actually researched Lieberman when I first found out he was Gore's running mate, and liked him a lot then. I cooled off a bit....but basically my stance is this: anybody who says NO to the corporate interests on both sides of the aisle is doing better than all the pocket-lining yes men. My sadness has to do with the fact that the media discounts anyone who plays outside the party structure as politically impotent....but both parties are so corrupt as to require that any politician with a shred of decency must pick and choose policy from all sides, because neither side has any monopoly on integrity or reason. Sure, the Republican party is in shreds from letting nimwads such as Palin and Limbaugh speak for it. But the answer to short sighted overspending, which is the Democrats' forte, is traditional conservative Republicanism. That voice is desperately needed, but not from a nimwad.
But I go on. I won't convince you of anything. Only you will convince yourself of something. Let me know if you find out anything juicy on Lieberman!!
