I watched some of the speech on tv last night. It was entertaining to watch the dem side sit there and shoot looks of death towards the rep. side every time that side of the room stood up to cheer and clap. And you're right- they should all have been booing him every time he opened his mouth, but instead it was as if he hadn't just esentially totalled our country for the last 7 years. The dem side would clap every now and then- as if they were the Onion newspaper with the 'what we're barely putting up with' meter.
I saw a bumper sticker the other day (out in the farm country of Davis, not SF) that said 'global warming is a lie'. I laughed and laughed, but it's a scary thing.
