BreAnna is her name, and she responded with a flat "no". She didn't seem offended, nor did she elaborate on her "no". I also asked what her religion is, and what her parents practice. She was raised non-religious, but says she is Christian. She asked if that is a problem and I said "It depends on what kind of Christian you are". She took that well. At her age I probably would have said I was a Christian too. Her stepfather is Baptist and her mother has recently become a Baptist. I told her I know all the hymns (my mother's family is Baptist). We did OK.
