It really bugs the shit out of me that almost all the clients I have come in having already been taking a whole constellation of psychoactive drugs and been diagnosed with all kinds of disorders and almost NONE of the doctors ever suggested simple COUNSELING.

I have actually started going to some of the doctors' offices to try to talk to them about recommending a combination of medications and counseling. It may be a bit quixotic, but there it is.
