Water

The reason why I do not plan to return to the desert southwest: dryness. I miss the rain. This morning's smidgen of snow was not enough to feed the wildflowers. It will be a dusty, fire-fraught summer here in Arizona. I look forward to again being in the land of fog. Even if my boots turn green with mold.

Don't forget that with the rain and moldy boots comes the fog, gray, and all the feelings that come with those.
You might find that a dose or two of the sun in AZ will do you good, once you're all settled in in OR. I'll meet you in Sedona.

Oh I know I'll suffer a decline in overall mood. I was shocked when I first moved to AZ and got happy. I totally plan to make a trip every xmas & spring break to somewhere sunny, just to manage my wintertime SADness. I may not go as far as Sedona. I might find some sunshine closer to home. Interested in other destinations??

Of course I am. Anywhere close to both you and I, I bet we can manage to find some good spots in the sun with some trails attatched.

Yeah. My gf who lives near the Toulumne River says that it's hard to find the trails because they're not marked, and there are no hiking guides to find them. But because of that, there's nobody on them. She only worries about getting killed by dope growers.
