That little comment from the warehouse just about sums it up. I feel your frustration, I know how much sweat and blood and tears you have put into that place, and to be offered what you deserved all those years just as you're walking out the door is almost insulting. I hope that this tantalizing bit of insurance carrot won't keep you from your move, I doubt it will but, it's gotta make you reach for your squeezy stress ball. (Don't have one? go get one.)
I just signed up for my benefits package at my new job, and I did so with a sense of exasperation... This job that I HATE has given me what all my other 'dream' jobs never thought of mentioning, and it drives me up the wall. I don't even want to be working there in 5 ( or 4, or 3) months, but all the sudden I've got all the things I've dreamed of having for 7 years. Sigh...
